An X-ray of a child with a neuroblastoma in the upper chest

The Radiology Committee is chaired by Dr Kieran McHugh.

Radiology involves the use of X-rays, CT and MRI scans and other imaging techniques to understand the location and size of neuroblastoma tumours. Imaging is very important for determining whether a localised tumour can be safely resected (removed at operation) and for assessing whether neuroblastoma has spread from the primary tumour to other parts of the body (metastatic disease).
