Cormac Owens

Cormac is a consultant paediatric oncologist at CHI, Crumlin and associate clinical professor at University College Dublin. He is the clinical lead of the Cancer Clinical Trials Unit at CHI.

He studied medicine at University College Galway, followed by paediatric and paediatric oncology training in Dublin. He completed fellowships in Institut Gustave Roussy, Paris and the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto, where he fostered a particular interest in clinical trial development and neuroblastoma.

Cormac is a member of the European Society of Neuroblastoma (SIOPEN) executive board (past-treasurer and current vice-president and chair of drug development). He is also a board member of European Paediatric Oncology Society (SIOPE) and co-chair of the SIOPE clinical research council.
