The Arceci Innovation award is back this year and ready for nominations.

The Fight Kids Cancer and St Baldrick's foundation sponsors it. This is a “genius” award of €250,000 a year for 4 years (€1 million in total) to support innovative childhood cancer research, targeted to investigators in their first 10 years of academic appointment at a European institution. 

In memory of Tom Monclair, who was a dedicated pediatric surgeon, a pilar for SIOPEN over so many years, and very appreciated by his colleagues who valued very much his clinical experience and opinion. SIOPEN was honored and blessed to have known Tom, our sincerest condolences to his loved ones.

Among several proposals evaluated, SIOPEN is delighted to announce that 2 were selected as the winners for the Grant Call 2024 and to be funded by SIOPEN with a total of 200.000€ each. Congratulations to Dr Rosswog and Dr Taschner-Mandl!!
